The Nijmegen Four Day Marches
We know that our flat is appreciated but it is always nice to have this confirmed.
The Brookes Family stayed at the flat in November while their son (Ollie) was undergoing intensive treatment. Very kindly Terry (Dad) and two friends Jimmy & Ian are raising funds for us and two other charities by taking part in The Nijmegen Four Day Marches.
Taking place in July over four days, Terry, Jimmy and Ian will march up to 50 kilometres a day. All being R.E.M.E veterans, we know that they will have the mindset and drive to complete their task.
Ollie is doing well and according to Dad is an unbelievable young chap! We like to think that helping the family to stay together during Ollie’s long stay in hospital has contributed to his recovery and improved the mental state of Mum & Dad. As we all know family is so important.
Good luck guys. We know that the training is well under way, and we hope that it continues to go well.
